Præsentation

Thomas Maribo is head of department for public health and rehabilitation research at Public Health and Quality Improvement, Central Denmark Region, focusing on research in rehabilitation. Dr Maribo is also an Associate Professor at the Department of Public Health Aarhus University. He is a trained physiotherapist and has worked with rheumatology, orthopaedics and occupational medicine in clinical settings. As head of department for public health and rehabilitation research he has a special interest in the implementation of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF) with special focus on clinical practice. One of his goals is to implement ICF-based Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) in clinical practice. Dr. Maribo has published more than 55 papers within the field of rehabilitation. His primary research area is biopsychosocial rehabilitation and functioning focusing on cardiac rehabilitation.
